On October 19, 2011, the Social Security Administration announced that the 2012 Social Security contribution and benefit base will be $110,100. This is $3,300 more than the base of $106,800 which has been in effect the last three years. Learn More »

Summary of Benefits and Coverage and Uniform Glossary Requirements Postponed  

A key Health Care Reform requirement has been delayed. On November 17, 2011, the Department of Labor, Department of the Treasury and the Department of Health and Human Services (the "Departments") jointly issued Part VII of an FAQ document on the implementation of certain market reform provisions of the Affordable Care Act ("ACA") that also includes FAQ's regarding implementation of the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 ("MHPAEA").
